Q. Are pets allowed?
A: No. We have guest that are alergic to animal hair. We also try to keep the cabin clean of normal wear and tear from an animal.
Q. Is smoking allowed in the cabin?
A: NO. Some guest are allergic to smoke and it also can leave a smell that is hard to get out. We have a porch and dock that you are free to smoke on.
Q. Does my cell phone work at the cabin?
A: Yes. You may have to step outside for Verizon and Sprint.
Q. Is firewood provided?
A: Firewood is provided in the winter months
Q. What items should I bring?
A: Bathing suit to use while kayaking or floating down the river, Fishing Pole,
Q. How do I get the kayaks back to the cabin?
A: There are a couple of outfitters that can run shuttle for you back to the put in. Then you just float back down to the cabin. Our Cabin is in the middle of the put-in and take-out.
Q. Are there any fish in the river?
A: Yes. The cartecay river is stocked 12 times a year with Trout from the Ga Fishery.
Q. What is the maximum number of people who can stay?
A: Six adults is the max for a comfortable stay. You could have Eight if a blow up mattress is used.
Q. Can I plug my laptop into the wireless router if I don’t have a wireless laptop?
A: Yes, Along with the wireless access, you can plug into the router if you don’t have wireless
